Host City
The city of Neuchâtel is located between the Arc of the Jura Mountains and the Lake of Neuchâtel in the French speaking part of Switzerland and is the seat of the Swiss Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
The canton of Neuchâtel is well known for the spectacular landscapes of the Jura Mountains and its beautiful vineyards at the lake’s edge.
The town and its surroundings are characterised by a long watch and clock making tradition, today’s leading micro and nanotechnology and - last but not least - a culture of fine winemaking and gastronomy.
